jammed-in in jan. so much to get out in such a little window (of time and on the computer): This weekend saw a visit to the pound to view the pooches. (OK, it's a shelter, but "pound" sounds much more rough and tumble.) As a test run, I'd like to volunteer there for a spell to get to know dogs. See how I like it. We're on a canine kick after having a lab retriever puppy spend a few days before shipping back to Moscow. At the Scissor Sisters show, I had my mind blown away by Karis, who's also featured in the "Filthy/Gorgeous" video. What else could I do but run into work to discuss hooping with a co-worker aficionado? She'd previously tried to get me into it, but I felt it was best to let sleeping ravers lie. Now, I may go to a Sunday hoop/dance thing at Cell Space. Laura would be so proud... nine years later and I'm finally going to go. The tea cozy is finished. I just need to shoot it and then give it away. Tonight, I plan on sewing up the cocoon sweater. (Oh, you can see me in the photo at that link. (*blushing*) That's all for now... sorry for the light month. I'll try to do better next month, especially since it's now part of my job to blog. 5:33 p.m. 2005-01-31 year(n)ing it anew Happy New Thing. Back at work and on the computer. Not spending much time (or is that wasting?) chez blog. My apologies. I'll do a list-y entry later, as I struggle to capture and control all of my desires. Then, I'll just have to corral my available free time. Don't you just love the smell of hope and possibility? 5:39 p.m. 2005-01-03 Hey, you! Tell me your thoughts (in my guestbook).
